What clarity looks like, as I have come to understand this, is not the dissolution of the self into a boundless ocean of consciousness. It is not conjecture about the substrate of reality. It is not certainty or truth, but something simpler: a recognition of the limits of human knowledge without needing to reach past those limits, and in that recognition, finding sufficiency and relaxation.
